Main uses of SIP panels

There are various products based on insulated structural panels, depending on the final position they adopt in the building as a whole: panels for roofs, external walls, partitions, etc. Each one of them fulfills the necessary characteristics to guarantee the stability of the whole:

.- Panels for external walls. They are made up of two OSB plates joined to a high-density polyurethane core (45 kg/m3). The structural benefits that it guarantees allow the construction of any type of building.

.- SIP for interior partitions. In this case, the panels are made up of two plasterboards joined to a high-density polyurethane core, to be applied as interior partitioning. These panels do not require a final coating, only the treatment of the joints between panels.

.- For roofs. High performance panels that can be used in a variety of buildings. They are made up of a plate joined to a high-density polyurethane core (45 kg/m3). The interior plate can have various finishes (wood, plasterboard, fiber cement,...).

.- Thermo Skin walls. Its main function is to increase the thermal insulation of walls and ceilings. It is an interior cladding system made up of an exposed plate and a high-density injected polyurethane plate.

SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) technology based on dry construction, consists of two plates joined by a core of high-density rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam. The advantages? Efficiency, speed and security.

The SIP construction system is increasing its presence in construction sites in Europe and the United States in recent years due to its advantages in construction.

Due to their physical and design properties, panels with the SIP system are suitable products for a wide variety of applications, not only for new-build construction.

It can also be used for interior partitions, cold rooms and in rehabilitations and reforms. Both in the industrial and residential sectors.
